Welcome to Barber Recruit ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website and barber hiring platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Barber Recruit is a two-sided hiring platform that connects licensed barbers seeking employment or chair rental opportunities with barbershop owners looking to fill open chairs. The Service includes barber profiles, shop listings, search and matching tools, and related features.
Barber Recruit is a platform that facilitates connections. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or party to any employment or rental agreement between barbers and shops.

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Barbers may create profiles at no charge. By creating a barber profile, you represent that all information provided — including licensing, experience, specialties, and portfolio content — is accurate and truthful. You grant Barber Recruit a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your profile content within the Service for the purpose of facilitating hiring connections.
Barbershop owners may subscribe to the Service under a paid monthly plan. Subscription pricing, features, and billing terms are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time. By subscribing, you authorize Barber Recruit to charge the applicable fees to your designated payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless otherwise required by law.
All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. We use third-party payment processors and do not store your full payment information on our servers. Payment processing is subject to the terms and privacy policies of our payment providers.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the Barber Recruit brand — are our property or the property of our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Service without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (such as portfolio images, profile descriptions, and reviews). By submitting content, you grant Barber Recruit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate at our sole discretion.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the platform, including user profiles, reviews, or shop listings.
Barber Recruit does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the qualifications, character, or quality of any barber or barbershop on the platform. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any arrangement with another user.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barber Recruit and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Barber Recruit in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Barber Recruit and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Essex County, New Jersey, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear its own costs.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Barber Recruit regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
